Point a camera at your real guitar and it will show you where to put your fingers
Start the camera to begin.
Target 1 / 17
E string, fret 0 (E2)
Turn the mic on so your playing can be checked.
Start the camera and prop it so it can see your fretting hand on the neck.
Click Calibrate Fretboard, then click the nut and the 12th fret at both the top and bottom string edges (4 clicks) - that is enough to work out every fret position on the neck.
Turn the mic on. Each target lights up on the fretboard overlay - play it, and the app listens to confirm before moving on.
Single notes are checked with pitch detection; chords use a coarser "is the right set of notes ringing" match, since true polyphonic chord ID from audio alone is a genuinely hard problem.
